About Us

Dr. Ellison is a licensed psychologist with over a decade of experience specializing in psychological assessment for children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Ellison earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from East Tennessee State University and has advanced training in health psychology and psychological assessment. He is licensed in both North Carolina and South Carolina, and is also PsyPact certified, allowing him to conduct virtual assessments for patients throughout much of the US.  

Dr. Ellison's clinical interests include cognitive and behavioral treatment of child behavior problems, child/adult ADHD, child/adult autism, diabetes, and chronic health concerns.  He also has interests in psychological testing and assessment of ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and learning disabilities across the age span.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Ellison is actively engaged in the communities in which he works and lives.  He currently serves on the Gaston County Board of Health and on the Catawba Mental Health Board.
